ICOSELS UNN 2007: Final Date

Dear members,

After series of considerations, especially in line with our Muslim brothers and sisters who will be having Eid-l-Fitr Festival around October 11 and 12, 2007, the date of the Conference has been fixed for October 14 to 18, 2007.

It should be noted that arrival and registration will be on 14 October 2007, while the conference proper will commence on 15 October, 2007.

This information should be passed to all and sundry

Conference Mini Poster

Dear members and participants,

Above is the new conference mini poster. It can be downloaded and pasted accordingly. Physical copies will be reaching branches as from next week. You are all welcome to Nsukka.

ICOSELS 2007: POSTPONMENT

The National Executive Cabinet and the Council of Presidents of the Association has agreed on the postponement of 2nd ICOSELS to October 9 -13, 2007.

While posters and other registration materials will be reaching branches as from this moment, members are enjoined to start preparing to make the forthcoming conference a memorable one, again.

Meanwhile, it is expected that members will be sending their abstracts and papers.

ICOSELS 2006 CONTD

During ICOSELS 2006, a lecture programme was held in honour of the Grand Patron of the Association, Emeritus Prof. Ayo Banjo. Below are some of the pictoral representations:

ICOSELS-IBADAN 2006

At the venue of the ICOSELS 2006, University of Ibadan, over 400 delegates from well over 16 universities of the federation came together to discuss vital issues relating to English language and literary studies. The events came up between November 7 and 10, 2006 at the Faculties of Arts and Technology of the Nigerian Premier University.

Registration of delegates was done by the registrations officers at the two faculties. Delegates were given conference booklet, conference folders, conference tags and other materials.

This picture represents the faces of the Conference secretaries from various universities including the host universities.

ICOSELS 2006 established a formidable ICT compliance by organizing a well-equiped ICT office manned by Agun Adetutu and George Mobolanle in the picture below:

At the meeting of the Council of Presidents [COUP] of the National Association of Students of English and Literary Studies [NASELS], Nigeria held at Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State between 22 and 23 of February, 2007, the following resolutions were reached regarding the 2nd Edition of the International Conference of Students of English and Literary Studies [ICOSELS] 2007:
